Applications close August 30.POSITION DESCRIPTIONYouth Pastor – South City C3 & St Martins C3 (10-22 hours)Primary Role:Running Mid-Week High School Youth Programme (10 hours)Provide a high-quality youth programme that young people in South City and St Martins C3 and their friends want to attend and within that environment help them become followers of Jesus.Oversee the running of the High School youth ministry (year 9-13). Run a weekly programme during school terms.Help transition young people from Intermediates into High School youth programmes and then on into Young Adult ministries.Connect with youth after church on Sundays, especially those new to the church and help them connect to the youth programme. Primarily at St Martins C3 but occasionally at South City C3, too.Encourage youth to attend and volunteer at both church locations.Grow a team of youth leaders from South City C3 and St Martins C3 to run youth programmes:Identifying and vetting of new leaders.Lead planning meeting with leaders.Provide discipleship and pastoral care to young people.Prepare and deliver quality Biblical teaching to young people.Run camps, missions or large events as required.Attend staff related meetings as required.Give regular updates in both churches.Secondary Roles:Running Sunday Morning Intermediate Youth Programme (2 hours)Build pastoral relationships with Ignite intermediate youth in St Martins C3.Build a team to provide a quality teaching programme for them on Sunday mornings.Preparation work for teaching on Sunday mornings.Run an after-school programme for primary school aged children - two afternoons per week.CONDITIONS AND REMUNERATIONPosition: Youth PastorPersons to whom you report: St Martins C3 and South City C3 Senior PastorsClassification: Part-TimeYearly Wage: Based on qualifications and exact responsibilities.Salary Review Date: AnnuallyAnnual Leave Entitlement: 4 Weeks (proportional to your hours)Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?How many years' experience do you have as a Youth Pastor? #J-18808-Ljbffr
