Year 1 Teacher Required

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 1 Teacher for a school near Telford for the upcoming Autumn Term. The school is committed to providing a nurturing environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. As a Year 1 Teacher, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in shaping the educational experiences of our students during the Autumn Term. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and creating a supportive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Year 1 curriculum, incorporating a variety of teaching strategies and resources. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students and provide additional support or challenge as needed. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, respected, and supported. Assess student progress through formative and summative assessment methods and provide feedback to students and parents. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behaviour, and academic achievement in accordance with school policies. Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing regular updates on student progress and achievements. Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Previous experience teaching in Key Stage 1, preferably in Year 1 or a similar age group. Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and experience in planning and delivering lessons. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
