About the Role:As a Yards Person, you'll be responsible for maintaining an organized and efficient yard environment.
From moving materials to assisting with general yard duties, this is a key role for someone who thrives in a physical, fast-paced setting.
What You'll Be Doing:Loading and unloading materials and equipment.Organizing and maintaining the yard to ensure efficiency and safety.Assisting with stock control and inventory checks.Operating forklifts and other machinery (if licensed).Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times.Providing excellent customer service when interacting with staff and clients.What We're Looking For:Previous experience in a similar role or a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks.Forklift license (advantageous but not essential).Reliable and punctual with a great attitude.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.A commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.Full NZ driver's license (preferred).What's in it for You?Competitive pay rates based on experience.Opportunity to work with a well-respected employer.Supportive and friendly team environment.Long-term potential for the right candidate.Ongoing support from the Tradestaff team.
