You'll be working in our Yard and Drive-thru area as part of the team, serving customers, loading, and unloading products onto vehicles and trucks. Daily you will be responsible for:
Assisting our customers within our timber yard & Drive Thru departmentLoading of goods onto customer vehiclesProcessing customer orders and transactionsPicking orders for delivery when neededMonitoring inventory, cycle countsAssisting as directed to ensure an efficient warehouse is maintainedOperating a ForkliftThis is a permanent full-time role, offering 40-45 hours a week. Working Monday to Friday with one rostered Saturday a month.
About you: You will play a lead role in ensuring our loyal customers are given the utmost care and service. You will need to be a people person and someone who thrives in building rapport with customers.Trade/product knowledge or warehousing experiencePhysically fit and solid health and safety valuesAbility to work independently as well as in a team environmentGreat attention to detail and be organizedCompetent computer and numeracy skillsA clean/current Full NZ Drivers Licence is essential. Forklift Experience is required, and a forklift licence/endorsement is preferred.
