You will be teaching alongside and leading three other teachers in a recently built collaborative flexible learning space. Three classes work closely together in this space both as individual classes and collaboratively when appropriate. Team leaders at Remuera Intermediate are leaders of people first and foremost. You will be highly collaborative, flexible, and relational. As a team leader, you will work with three other team leaders across Y8 and will contribute to the schoolwide leadership team regularly. In addition to leading people, you will be a leader of learning with responsibility for the continued success of approximately 90 young people.Teacher leaders have the greatest immediate impact on the learning of the students in their care. As such we continue to provide ongoing leadership PLD for our school leaders to ensure they have the skills and capabilities to lead with confidence. Attached is a copy of the job description. This may be negotiable depending on the availability of temporary cover. The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position are set by the PTCA 2023-25. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $61,000 to $103,000, depending on the applicant's qualifications and experience. Individuals' actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
