This role is an exciting opportunity for an educator who wants to make a real difference by nurturing curiosity and igniting a passion for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) in emerging adolescents. Over the school year, every one of our 700 students will have the opportunity to work with you for several consecutive sessions, where they are offered opportunities to create solutions and problem-solve in the world of STEM. The ideal candidate will possess a recognised New Zealand teaching qualification and relevant teaching experience, demonstrating solid subject knowledge in at least two areas of STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics). Experience with hands-on teaching methods and familiarity with technologies is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills and the ability to relate well to emerging adolescents are vital, inspiring their curiosity and confidence.
