Y4–5 Classroom Teacher

Position: Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher
Subjects: English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Maori, The arts
We are looking for a kind, enthusiastic, reflective and relational teacher who enjoys teaching and learning. Knowledge, understanding and experience teaching structured literacy and mathematics is desirable but not essential.
We are a Y0-8 dual medium full primary school and this position is in our Y4 & 5 English medium class with an expected roll of 17 amazing tauira. Ability to model our MANAAKI values and weave them across the curriculum is essential.
