Y3-4 Team Leader

Position: Y3–4 Permanent Team Leader Stratford Primary School is looking for an experienced classroom teacher to lead our Y3–4 team. The current team is made up of 4 Y3–4 classrooms. The right candidate will be a well-organised leader and effective classroom practitioner. They will value relationships with team members, akonga, and whanau. The successful candidate will be able to effectively teach their class while also providing supportive guidance to their team. The leadership team will support the new team leader with mentoring and guidance as they grow into the role. Responsibilities: Lead the Y3–4 team effectively. Provide supportive guidance to team members. Teach your class effectively. Qualifications: Experience as a classroom teacher. Strong organisational skills. Ability to build relationships with students, team members, and whanau. The Board supports teachers who live in New Plymouth with the use of the school van to reduce travel costs. Staff that use this option pay approximately $20 per week. We are looking for someone who can positively complement our school culture.
