Y3-4 Teacher

Dargaville Primary School is seeking a passionate, adaptable and dedicated teacher to join our team as a Y3 & 4 teacher.
This is a full-time position suitable for an innovative educator who is committed to providing high-quality education and support to our students.
The successful candidate will join a supportive and collaborative teaching environment located in Dargaville, Northland.
Key responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons for Y3 & 4 students.
Create a family-like learning context within your classroom.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback, feedforward and support.
Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development and well-being.
Participate in school activities, events, and professional development programs.
Requirements:
New Zealand teaching qualification and current registration.
Experience teaching in a primary school setting, particularly with Y3 & 4 students.
Strong understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum and effective teaching practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Commitment to ongoing professional development.
