Key responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality instruction in English and social sciences to students within the Secondary School.
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and needs.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and respect.
Participate in school events and professional development.
Incorporate Christ-centred values and teachings into the curriculum and classroom environment.
Qualifications and experience:
A relevant teaching qualification and current NZ Teacher registration.
Strong knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum and the NZQA framework.
Proven experience teaching English and social sciences.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
A commitment and passion for Christian education.

Experience with effective device integration in the classroom.
A passion for fostering a love of literature, history, and social studies in students.
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators.
Active involvement in a Christian community.
