TRADE Customer Service - Part time (Weekends)
Mitre 10 MEGA Wanaka is a dynamic and fast-growing company with a vision to provide a high level of customer service and expertise to our customers in Wanaka and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Trade team that has been awarded "Mitre 10 Trade Store of the Year" numerous times.
Part of this success is the great customer service we provide, so we would be really keen to hear from you if you have our passion for ensuring our customers get the right product and an exceptional level of service every time they walk through our doors – going the extra mile will be the norm for you.
We are looking for an allrounder, who can work the Trade Checkout and be responsible for merchandising in adjacent areas. This role has a strong Customer Service focus and you will ensure interactions with our Trade and DIY customers happen seamlessly.
The successful applicant will have:

A passion for customer service excellence
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Good numeracy skills and accuracy
Be flexible and able to think on your feet
Be able to meet customer demands with a polite and friendly manner
Keep a cool head during challenging situations
Enthusiasm and team spirit
Basic familiarity with computers and keyboard skills
Some knowledge of building materials would be advantageous, but not necessary

Applicants must be a New Zealand citizen, resident, or hold a current open work visa for New Zealand. We are seeking candidates who can work weekend days, and working both Saturday and Sunday would be highly desirable (but not a requirement). There is flexibility on the hours and days worked. Should the successful applicant seek additional shifts, there may be other opportunities to work some weekdays and there would also be ad hoc opportunities to fill in as cover.
