Workshop Technician

This is a full-time Workshop Technician role at Tech 13 Limited based in Whangarei, Central Northland . As a Workshop Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our clients' hardware and equipment.
What you'll be doing
Diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware issues
Performing repairs and maintenance on a variety of electronic devices and equipment, such as laptops, MacBook, iPad, Tablet, Phones, and desktops
Basic soldering skills
Upgrading and installing new hardware components
Providing on-site support and guidance to clients
Basic network installations such as access points and network printers
Software skills such as installing and configuring emails and Windows/Apple OS
Basic data reset and backup skills
Maintaining detailed records of all work performed
What we're looking for
Minimum 1 year experience as a Workshop Technician or similar role
Strong knowledge of hardware troubleshooting and repair techniques
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and customer service skills
Willingness to learn and stay up to date with the latest technologies
Occasional onsite visits are required
