About the Role Position: Workshop Supervisor We are seeking a dedicated Workshop Supervisor to work alongside the Workshop Manager at our Mechanical & Engineering Division Workshop in Marsden Point.
This is a "hands-on role" coordinating the day-to-day activities of the workshop, providing leadership and direction to a team of engineers and mechanics.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding in cost management and will be directly responsible for some key administration functions.
Location: Marsden Point Status: Full Time Monday to Friday 45 hour week.
Working hours are ******** Specific Responsibilities Supervise workshop staff, manage workflow, and ensure efficient operations.
Monitor costs, scrutinize third-party work and invoices, and ensure budget control.
Ensure compliance with H&S protocols, report incidents, and conduct audits.
Handle purchase orders, job cards, and cost reporting.
Manage daily paperwork and staff roster.
