Job reference - 36466Live on the beautiful east coast - a city known for wineries and surf beachesSix figure salaryEstimator / panelbeater looking for that next step in your careerWe are seeking a Workshop Manager with extensive experience in the collision repair industry to join a well-established automotive repair shop located in Gisborne.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in writing estimates for insurance companies and private customers, organising workflow, conducting quality controls on vehicles, and providing excellent customer service. The Workshop Manager will play a crucial role working closely with the owner in maintaining a positive and efficient work environment while constantly seeking opportunities for process improvement.Duties within the roleWrite estimates for insurance companies and private customersOrganise workflow and maintain a productive team environmentLiaise with customers, workshop staff and suppliersConduct quality controls on vehicles before customer collectionProvide excellent customer service and maintain a professional attitudeOrder replacement parts and inspect them upon receiptStrive for continuous improvement in processes and skillsMaintain a sense of humor and positive attitudeQualifications, experience and qualities required for the roleA minimum of 5 years experience in the collision repair industryProven ability to manage workflow and team dynamicsThe ability to work well in a team and having the ability to motivate and drive the teamExperience with I-Bodyshop and prior management experience highly advantageousStrong customer service skills and the ability to interact positively with clientsExperience in ordering replacement parts and conducting quality controlsExperience with commercial vehicles such as diggers, agricultural equipment is not necessary but would be a bonusDesire to constantly improve processes and skillsHow to applyThis vacancy is only open to citizens of Australia or New Zealand, Australian residents, and those already in Australia with Work Visas that can be transferred to a new employer.
