Kinetic is seeking a motivated and reliable Workshop Handyman to join our Christchurch team. This role is crucial in supporting the smooth operations of our workshop by ensuring high-quality maintenance, cleaning, and service delivery for vehicles and facilities. If you're a team player with a can-do attitude, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!Key Responsibilities:Attendance & Punctuality: Ensure daily attendance is consistent and ready to start work on time, Monday to Friday. Maintain reliability and professionalism in attendance.Workplace Relations: Foster a safe, friendly, and cooperative working environment. Work as part of a team and collaborate with management to ensure a positive work atmosphere.Cleaning & Maintenance: Perform cleaning and maintenance duties for vehicles and buildings to a high standard, ensuring tasks are completed as required by the General Manager.Workplace Cleanliness & Safety: Maintain the workshop, wash areas, and equipment in a clean, tidy, and safe condition at all times, in accordance with Health and Safety standards.Equipment Handling: Competently operate cleaning equipment and follow all chemical safety procedures as outlined by Occupational Safety and Health regulations and company policy.Workshop Support: Assist Workshop Management as needed, including tasks such as vehicle pick-ups, transfers, COF's, and any additional duties as required to keep the workshop running smoothly.Skills & Experience:Previous experience in a similar role (preferred but not essential)A strong commitment to workplace safety and cleanlinessAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent time management and punctualityWillingness to perform a variety of tasks and support the workshop team where necessaryWhy Join Us?Be a part of a dynamic and supportive team that offers opportunity for growth and development within the company and contribute to maintaining a safe and well-functioning workshop environment.If you have a positive attitude, are committed to maintaining high standards, and are looking for a hands-on role, we'd love to hear from you!
