Workshop Foreman

Are you a seasoned professional with experience in managing heavy vehicle maintenance? Our client is looking for a Workshop Foreman to lead their dedicated team of mechanics and technicians.
About the role: You will need to supervise and lead the workshop team to ensure all vehicle repairs and maintenance are completed to the highest standards. You will oversee diagnostics, repairs, and servicing of a range of heavy vehicles.
You must ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures, maintain a high level of efficiency and productivity while ensuring customer satisfaction. You will coordinate workflow, assign tasks, and manage workshop scheduling. You must conduct regular inspections to ensure vehicles meet operational standards.
About you: You will ideally have proven experience as a Workshop Foreman or Senior Mechanic, preferably with heavy vehicles, with the relevant qualifications.
You will have strong leadership and communication skills and a solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
You will have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle complex mechanical issues and ensure timely solutions. You will have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
You will be Health & Safety focused with an in-depth understanding of safety regulations and best practices in a workshop environment.
