We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Workshop Fitter to join our skilled workshop team based in Newcastle.

This is a great opportunity to work with innovative products and with a leader in the industry. As a member of our workshop engineering team you will get the opportunity to expand your skill set as you install, modify, service and repair Palfinger Cranes and Hookloaders.
About you
Requirements for the role:
Mechanical Trade Qualification would be an advantage but not necessary
Excellent diagnostic problem-solving skills
Passionate and focused on workplace Health & Safety
Ability to adapt to work requirements and prioritise workloads
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Able to pass a compulsory pre-employment medical, drugs and alcohol assessment.
Preferred qualifications or experience:
Previous experience in one or more of these fields - Fitter, Diesel Mechanic, Light Vehicle Mechanic, Body Builder / Fabricator, Auto Electrician
Welding qualifications
Licence to perform High Risk Work
EWP licence
Dogging/Rigging licence
HR/MR licence
