The Opportunity
Due to an increase in workload in our Workshop, we require an experienced engineer to join us here in sunny Nelson. This is an exciting opportunity to join our hard-working Workshop team working on a large variety of vehicles and equipment. This position will also require some work off-site working at our Quarries or in the field as well as in the Workshop.
We are offering a competitive remuneration package for the right person including medical and life insurance.
Responsibilities Strong mechanical and engineering background
Comfortable working at heights or confined space
Strong interpersonal skills
Dedication to internal and external customer service
Ability to work unsupervised as well as part of a team
What you'll bring to the table At least 4 years' experience as a workshop engineer or similar, including welding experience
Current NZ Driving Licence – Classes 1-5 (desirable but not essential as full training will be provided)
Have an unwavering commitment towards living safely
Be a reliable individual with a strong work ethic
Excellent time management skills
