Workshop and/or Field Technician/Mechanic – Multiple roles available Total Diesel Services is a Pukekohe based diesel vehicle specialist. We help keep our customers' vehicles operating at their optimum level. We have trade certified mechanics who are dedicated to bringing the best performance solutions to all vehicles we work on.
We are on the lookout for qualified Diesel Mechanics to join our small friendly team.
We have both workshop and field-based roles available. Depending on the role, duties will involve repairs on trucks and light vehicles, servicing breakdowns in the field, and repairs on agricultural tractors and auxiliary equipment.
The ideal candidate will have a background in trucks, light vehicles, agricultural, and/or heavy transport (role dependent).
About you: To be successful in either of these roles you will:
Be Trade Qualified, ideally with a minimum of 3 years' experience
A self-starter - able to work autonomously as well as in a team.
Have a Full/ Clean NZ Drivers Licence
Be PC literate
Be eligible to work in New Zealand
Be able to maintain excellent relationships with both customers and workmates
Have a positive attitude with excellent communication skills
Have excellent problem-solving skills
Have a willingness to contribute to an awesome Health and Safety culture
