Workforce Delivery Lead – Infant Child & Youth Mental Health & Addictions - CHCH The opportunity Are you an experienced clinician in child and youth mental health and addictions? Have you managed projects and budgets and delivered training programmes? Wharaurau seek an experienced and passionate Workforce Delivery Lead to lead and facilitate the activity that supports our Mental Health and Addictions programmes. Initially, the role will support the Trauma and Youth Primary programmes and then support other programme deliverables; flexibility will be key. You will plan, provide resources, deliver and report on this workforce delivery activities, to enhance capability of the ICAMH, NGO, Trauma and Primary workforces across communities. These programmes will support the development of knowledge and skills of those in the sector. Key responsibilities: Contribute to the development of training, facilitation and delivery of Wharaurau work programmes. Engage actively with the mental health and addiction sector. Manage planning, co-ordination and delivery of project work. Produce and coordinate financial reporting. Lead and collaborate with sub-contractors. Gather and report on sector intel to mitigate risks. Provide key stakeholder management with the mental health and addiction sector. Ensure principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi are supported and implemented in delivery of service. Your skills and experience: It is essential for you to hold: A clinical qualification with a relevant tertiary degree in mental health, health or education. 5 years minimum workplace experience in either Clinical services or as a Project Manager in clinical or NGO services. Experience with tamariki and taiohi (child and youth) wellbeing, addiction and or mental health services in Aotearoa. Understand Maori & Pacific approaches to wellbeing, and a commitment to promote positive outcomes for tangata whenua and pacific communities. Track record of effective project and stakeholder management. Evidence of budget management. The ability to travel nationally with potential for weekly travel when required. Through UniServices, a wholly owned social impact company of Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland, we are contracted by the Ministries of Health and Education to grow the capacity and capability of the infant, child, youth and whanau mental health and addictions workforces.
