Workforce Delivery Lead – Foundations ICAMH Child Welfare, Youth & Family Services (Community Services & Development) Government (Government & Defence) Full time Add expected salary to your profile for insights Create an impact: support and develop ICAMH and addictions workforce Permanent 32 - 40 hours per week (negotiable) National Role - can be based in Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch The opportunity Wharaurau seek an experienced and passionate infant, child and youth mental health and addictions practitioner to take up a key role as our Workforce Delivery Lead to lead and facilitate the activity that supports our Foundations in ICAMHS programme, alongside other deliverables and programmes. You will plan, resource, deliver and report on this foundational learning, to build capability of the ICAMH, NGO and Primary workforces across the spectrum of care. These programmes will support the development of knowledge and skills of those in the sector. You will lead and coordinate multiple projects and subcontractors. Ideally you will have experience in infant, child and youth mental health and addiction services, and working with their whanau. You will demonstrate project management and delivery capability alongside your clinical expertise in mental health and addiction issues.This is a great opportunity to work for a positive and passionate purpose, whilst gaining exposure to national projects of significance that genuinely make a difference. Key responsibilities: Contribute to the development of training and delivery of Wharaurau work programmes, specifically in foundational infant, child and youth mental health. Engage actively with the mental health and addictions sector. Manage planning, co-ordination and delivery of project work. Produce and coordinate financial reporting. Lead and collaborate with sub-contractors. Gather and report on sector intel to mitigate risks. Provide key stakeholder management with the mental health and addictions sector. Ensure principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi are supported and implemented in delivery of service. Your skills and experience: Clinical or health sector experience in infant, child and youth mental health and addictions. A minimum of 5 years workplace experience in either clinical services or project management delivering clinical services. Experience with pepe, tamariki and taiohi (infant, child and youth) wellbeing, addiction and or mental health services in Aotearoa. Understanding of Maori & Pacific approaches to wellbeing and a commitment to promote positive outcomes for tangata whenua and Pacific communities. Familiarity with the concepts of Pae Ora (healthy futures). A track record of effective project and stakeholder management. Demonstrated ability to deliver results to the appropriate quality and timelines. Evidence of budget management experience. Flexibility to contribute across several projects, creating positive stakeholder experiences. Ability to plan and facilitate events and workshops, continuously improvement based on evaluations. The ability to travel nationally with potential for weekly travel when required Who we are Wharaurau works to improve the mental health and wellbeing of infants, children, and youth and those who care for them by providing workforce development within the mental health and addictions sector in Aotearoa. Through UniServices, a not-for-profit company of Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland, we are contracted by the Ministries of Health and Education to grow the capacity and capability of the infant, child, youth and whanau mental health and addictions workforces. We offer a range of online courses, training, webinars and service supports that are government-funded and easy to access without cost to the participant.
