Career Opportunities: WNPH Kaiawhina: Family Harm (5043851)Requisition ID5043851-Posted -Northland-Permanent FTStand at the stern of the canoe and feel the spray of the future biting at your faceMo te tunga | About the roleAre you a Kaiawhina with skill and compassion to support whanau experiencing family harm?We are seeking the services of a professional to assist our team to ensure our whanau feel safe and supported and to make a change in the lives of not only whanau today but future generations.Specifics of the roleEngaging with Victims (Kaimamae) and their wider Whanau to assess risk, identify protective factors, complete safety planning, advise on police processes, offer supports & arranging On-Referrals for specialised support..Building relationships with other Government and Non-Government Agencies working in the Family Harm space.Instituting/participating in, and/or facilitating Professionals Consult.Providing support for the Police Family Harm Team, as required.Key Accountabilities:Engaging with diverse Individuals – Ages, Cultures, Ethnicity and Gender.Problem Solving.Maintain accurate Records.Positive Engagement with other Teams (Internal & External).
