JOIN THE CARDRONA TEAM FOR WINTER 2025!
We're looking for experienced Snowmaking Technicians to join our team for Winter 2025. Our winter season runs from May to October, so this position will start in May at the earliest.
As a Snowmaking Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring guests have an exceptional and safe experience on the mountain. In this position, you will work closely with the Snowmaking Lead/Supervisor and Terrain & Snow Manager to operate snowmaking machinery efficiently and maintain optimal snow production. Your responsibilities include all aspects of snowmaking operations, from reticulation and pumping to water storage and passive collection.
As a key member of our team, you'll prioritise guest safety while maximising resource efficiency in snow production. This entails maintaining high-quality snow coverage across the terrain and assisting in the maintenance of snowmaking assets such as guns, towers, and pumps. Additionally, you'll provide superior guest service by addressing resort-related queries and ensuring a tidy mountain environment. Join us in creating unforgettable experiences for our guests while upholding the highest standards in snow production and guest satisfaction.
As part of our busy mountain environment, you may need to lend a helping hand in other areas to ensure the best experience for our guests.
We're looking for someone who has:
Snowmaking experience (at least 2 years)
Knowledge of Torrent pump systems
Smart Snow experience
Intermediate/Advanced ski or snowboarding ability
