The?Role We have an exciting opportunity for an HSEQ Coordinator to join our team in Dunedin as part of our housing maintenance division.
The HSEQ Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of BGIS Health, Safety, Environment and Quality systems.This role involves supporting, guiding and training our operations team through best practice HSEQ practices and supporting our wider business units across residential and commercial construction and maintenance projects.You will work closely with our operations team providing HSEQ guidance, advice and ensuring best practice.
Day-to-day duties of the role include: incident investigations, client and contractor compliance, pulling reports and working through data, site visits and supporting the business with Health & Safety systems, policies and processes.To be successful in this role you will have a basic understanding of and exposure to AS/NZS 4801 and AS/NZS ISO 18001.
Skills and Experience 2 years experience in an HSEQ role Working knowledge of HSEQ ISO 18001 Exposure to conducting safety inspections 1-2 years of experience in construction, property management or facility management industries – Highly desirable.
The salary banding for this role is $72,000 - $76,000 and includes a company vehicle.
