Wholesale Coordinator The Kootenay Bakery Cafe Cooperative, a worker-owned business, is looking for an individual for our thriving cooperative business to supervise the wholesale sub-department. This position's main role would be to ensure the wholesale customer base is healthy, happy and strong, and that the sub-department operates cooperatively, productively and efficiently. This role supports and works closely with the Baking Department and Manager, and ensures a smooth flow of information between customers, the production team, the packaging team, and office/finance department. This position would also package and deliver orders, and ensure all orders get fulfilled in a timely manner. This position could lead to becoming a KBCC Coop member/owner if the fit is right. You: A self-motivated, organized and responsible individual. Have a valid BC driver's license in good standing and be comfortable driving in town in all conditions. Some basic experience with computers, professional communication with customers, time management, and solutions-based problem solving would be an asset. Must thrive in a busy workplace, be punctual and reliable, be strong enough to lift 20 Kg and be on feet for a full day, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have a good ability to collaborate and work as part of a team, as well as on your own. Position Responsibilities: Overseeing the wholesale department, coordinating and communicating between departments, developing and maintaining customer relationships, invoicing, slicing and packaging bread, buns and bakery products, and making some deliveries throughout the day.
