Our team of expert assessors and technicians provide a comprehensive person-centred service, from assessment and training, to equipment repairs, servicing & modifications. We provide services to ACC, MSD – Disability Support (formerly Whaikaha) and private clients.
About the role | He korero whakamarama mo tenei turanga We have a permanent, full-time position available for 40 hours, 5 days per week within the Seating To Go therapy team based in Hamilton. We would also welcome interest from an experienced wheelchair and seating contractor.
This is an exciting opportunity for a person-centred, innovative and creative Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist, to join our Seating To Go team. You would join a team of technicians and therapists working in wheelchair and seating provision with people of all ages and abilities. What we do makes a difference to how people are able to participate in everyday life.
Our clinical team in the Hamilton support clients throughout the Waikato district including Coromandel, Waipa, Hauraki, and Ruapehu. We welcome interest from therapists who live in any of these regions and could link in with our Hamilton based service.
Whilst we would prefer applicants to have experience in wheelchair and seating assessments or an associated field, we are also open to providing a development opportunity to a therapist who has limited experience but an active interest in this field. Reliability, ability to manage self and time, good communication and team skills and computer literacy are essential, as is a clean, full driver's licence.
