Come join our Rotorua based team of technicians and therapists working in wheelchair and seating provision with people of all ages and abilities.
What we do makes a difference to how people are able to participate in everyday life!The technician role involves but is not limited to the following:Annual servicing of disability equipment such as wheelchairs, hoists, hospital beds and shower chairsRepairs on a diverse range of wheelchairs and disability equipmentAdjusting and modifying both manual and power wheelchairs to suit the clientFitting special seating supports alongside therapistsSome minor fabrication workYou'll be someone who thrives in a people-focused role as you will be required to work independently in people's homes and in the wider community, not just in the workshop all day!
You will need to be comfortable supporting clients across the Eastern Bay of Plenty, Lakes and South Waikato region.
You will be working with our clients to keep them moving and enable them to get the most out of their equipment.
