This position is within the wheelchairand seating division of our team. You will have close links with othertherapists in your profession and be supported by a district wide ClinicalCoordinator. The hours for this role are 48-80 hoursper fortnight (0.6 up to 1.0FTE to suit the preferred applicant, working Monday - Friday. Ko wai he kaitono totika? (Who is anappropriate applicant?) You will have at least two yearspost-qualification experience, NZ professional registration, and a currentpracticing certificate. Level 2Wheelchair Enable accreditation preferred, but is not essential as support will begiven to an experienced Level 1 therapist to achieve this. Additionally, you will bring thefollowing : Comprehensive clinical assessment and problem-solving skills. The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, to develop positive interpersonal relationships, and work flexibly within the inter-disciplinary team, with a team player attitude. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong clinical reasoning skills and use of evidence informed practice. Effective time management and organisational skills. Strong prioritisation skills and experience with complex discharge planning. Full clean drivers' licence. You will also be adaptable to change,resourceful and flexible to service needs, and will have a genuine passion forworking with consumers in the community on their health journey.
