NZCL team is looking for energetic and motivated people to support people in their own home.
We are looking for a part-time support worker that will be working between 10-20 hours in Wellington.
We are seeking a support worker who ideally has experience supporting males with challenging behaviours and/or autism.What does a Support Worker do?

| Ko wai ta tatou e rapu anaPeople who are passionate about helping others, are kind and understanding.Good communication skillsPrevious experience in a healthcare setting preferred, including experience working with youth.Full driver's license and owning your own vehicle is essential.A desire to support people to learn new skills and achieve outcomes.Somebody who has the initiative to push people for their goals, is energetic, outgoing, and can think outside the box.
You need to be respectful of others thinking, and their way of living life that may be different to your own.Experience working with individuals with autism or challenging behaviours is preferred, but not essential.Empathy, respect, and cultural awareness is important in this role as the people we support come from diverse backgrounds with varying needs and interests.
