We are looking for a part time Support Worker in Tauranga, to provide support for Rangitahi and Tamariki and the family, fostering their self-determination and empowering them to lead a valued life on their own terms.
The hours for this role will start at 5-10 per week with the opportunity to increase these hours over time.
What does a Support Worker do? | He aha te mahi a te Kaimahi Tautoko As a support worker, your primary role is to facilitate the family's journey toward a valued life of their choosing. You will actively engage with them in a hands-on capacity and collaborate closely with them.
Your tasks will encompass a range of activities including grocery shopping, meal planning, preparation and cooking, laundry, light cleaning, and household support. As a support worker, your goal is to provide assistance, so they are able to maintain their active participation in daily living, both at home and in the community. Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
