We are looking for part-time Support Workers in the Canterbury region for our Whanau Support Services.

You will support people in their home and community to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives and achieve their personal dreams and goals by doing the things they want to do, such as going swimming, attending sporting events, participating in arts and crafts, watching movies, or shopping - the list is endless!

People who are passionate about helping others, kind, and understanding.
Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred, including experience working with youth.
Full driver's license and owning your own vehicle is essential.
A desire to support people to learn new skills and achieve outcomes.
Somebody who has the initiative to push people for their goals, is energetic, outgoing, and can think outside the box. You need to be respectful of others' thinking and their way of living life that may be different from your own.

Empathy, respect, and cultural awareness are important in this role as the people we support come from diverse backgrounds with varying needs and interests.
