At Marlbrough Primary School (Glenfield - Auckland) we live our vision of Whakapuawai - Flourishing Forward as Kaitiaki (Guardians), by Being Me (Ahurea Tuakiri), with Resilience (Aumangea) and through Pakiki (Curiosity).
We are still developing our Reggio Inspired Inquiry for Whanau Time, a segment of each day spent being furiously curious! We are currently looking for exceptional, inspiring kaiako to join our team in 2025. This role involves:
Leading and building a high-functioning village team
Modelling best practice - co-design, observing, and providing feedback to support the growth of teacher effectiveness and impact particularly in the refreshed curriculum areas
Implementing systems to manage the team's work plan e.g. assessment expectations
Coordinating across whanau meetings, agendas and communicating key schoolwide information and messages to ensure the village team feels well informed
Overseeing and supporting your wider team in coordinating events, assemblies, and other village activities. Drafting whanau newsletters
We are looking for an experienced leader with:
