About You You are someone who thrives in a dynamic and community-driven environment. With excellent communication and relationship-building skills, you can confidently engage with suppliers and volunteers alike. You are organised, proactive, and able to juggle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail. Ideally, you have a strong understanding of Te Reo and Tikanga Maori, and you bring a mana-enhancing approach to everything you do. A full driver's licence is essential, and warehousing or forklift experience is a bonus. The Type of Person We're Looking For A people person who builds positive relationships with ease. Reliable and able to manage time and workloads effectively. Physically fit, able to lift up to 16kg, and committed to health and safety practices. A team player who can also work independently and take initiative. Passionate about reducing food waste and supporting local communities. Key Responsibilities Foster and maintain strong relationships with food suppliers and community organisations. Coordinate and support volunteers, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities. Oversee the safe and efficient collection, storage, and distribution of kai. Maintain accurate inventory, perform stock checks, and handle administrative duties. Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse and equipment.
