Each day, our interactions with our team and residents are guided by three values:Being There | In it Together | Look for a Way.Job DescriptionMo te turanga | About the opportunityMonday to Friday - 35 to 40 hours per weekWe are seeking a self-motivated, organized and energetic person for the role of Wellness Leader within our community.This role leads the implementation of our Attitude of Living Well approach, which sits at the heart of Arvida's philosophy of care and resident engagement. As Wellness Leader you will be supporting and empowering team members to engage with our residents in a way that is relationship-focused supports our five pillars of wellness: eating well, resting well, moving well, thinking well, and engaging well.The Wellness Leader has an important role within our community, forming part of the leadership team and reporting directly to the Village Manager.QualificationsTo tatou kaitono pai | What you bringA passion for people living and working in aged care.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and inspire others through persuasive communication and relationship building.Previous experience in delivering high-quality programs to individuals and groups with past evidence of the ability to engage with a wide variety of people to work toward a common shared goal.Clear and concise written communication skills.Strong computer literacy with advanced user of Microsoft Office applications including Excel.Leadership, influencing skills, and good communication (both oral and written) are essential parts of this role.Additional InformationCompetitivemarket rate.Staff benefits across multiple retail outlets.An experienced and supportive culture across the wider Arvida team.A purposeful role, engaging and positive work environment.If you have a passion for wellness, collaborating with others, and purpose-led work, we'd love to hear from you!Along with your CV, please submit a cover letter outlining what you'll bring to the role and your fit to our Attitude of Living Well approach.
