Hei Whakarapopototanga | Job Summary We are looking for a passionate, registered, and experienced Well Child Tamariki Oras Nurse who wants to make a difference and work in a space that champions the mantra of 'about Maori, by Maori, with Maori, and for Maori'. If this is you, you will be warmly welcomed into the team at Mamia along with your kete matauranga (skills, experiences, creativity, and proficiency) to contribute to what we have created at Mamia. For instance, this includes championing our values of wahinetanga, whakamana, hauora, and whanaungatanga. The ideal candidate will have a diverse background in Well Child Tamariki Ora nursing, te ao Maori, tikanga Maori, matauranga Maori, and kaupapa Maori. This role will be integral in implementing and actualizing the kaupapa of Mamia, be responsible for delivering services that align with our vision, mission, guiding principles, and values, while working with the rest of the Mamia team. The role will also require an individual who is committed to providing holistic, culturally sensitive support to wahine and whanau within our community. 
Te Turanga me nga Haepapa | The Role and Responsibilities Tautoko me te Arotake a-Hauora | Health Assessments and SupportHe Ngakau Pono | Cultural Integration and SupportWhanaungatanga | Family and Community EngagementTautoko i te Hauora me te Oranga | Health and Wellbeing AdvocacyTe Purongorongo | Documentation and ReportingMahi Tahi me te Whakapa | Collaboration and Communication Tohu Matauranga | Qualifications Relevant qualification and an in-depth knowledge of Well Child Tamariki Ora settings.Te ao Maori, kaupapa Maori, matauranga Maori, tikanga Maori experience at home and in the workplace. Registered Well Child Tamariki Ora nurse with a valid registration and current practicing certificate with the New Zealand Nursing Council.Minimum of 2 years' experience in a nursing role. Nga Pukenga | Skills Proficiency in integrating te ao Maori cultural practices, principles and values into health care settings.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with tamariki, whanau, community, and colleagues.Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple tasks.
