Welders

These are permanent full-time roles working for a nationwide recruitment agency – TheSuccess Group, you will be required to work in various sites across New Zealand, withweekly guaranteed hours of at least 30 and a gross pay rate of $29.66 per hour.In this role you will be part of a successful team, performing all activities associatedwith installation of reinforcing steel:
 
Your duties are including:


Setting out the work area following engineering plans.




Using hand and power tools to cut and bend bars or mesh. 




Trying rebar together with wire, clips or welds to build up cages or sections.




Reading and interpreting detailed construction plans.




Lifting and positioning sections of scaffolding.




Measuring, cutting, bending and fitting welded wire mesh into concrete areas tobe mesh reinforced.




Fixing mesh and reinforcing steel into position in formwork for concrete pours.


 
To be considered for this role you must have the below required skills and experience:



3 years' experience or more experience as a steel fixer is preferred.




Ability to read architectural drawings.




MUST be able to pass a pre-employment drug test (these will be requiredrandomly from time-to-time as part of our health and safety compliance test).




Full clean driver's license and reliable vehicle.




Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.




Efficient worker with strong work ethics.A team player.
