The Role

Our client is seeking 2 Apprentice Welder/Fabricators to join their fast paced and busy manufacturing team in Whangarei.

Duties:

- Welding and fabricating steel for buildings small, medium and large

- Reading, Interpreting and communicating technical drawings and plans

- Health and Safety competencies on a daily basis in alignment with processes and procedures

- Documentation preparation

- Gantry Crane and Forklift Operation

Requirements:

- You will have a genuine passion to become a welder in the Steel Manufacturing industry

- Be safety conscious and follow appropriate procedures, policies and processes in regards to safety

- Great communication skills and the best of sorts in being a team player

- No experience is required although pre-trade exposuin welding/fabrication would be an advantage

- Ultimately you will be mechanically minded

Screening:

- Pre-employment medical, drug, alcohol and criminal convictions screening will be required prior to the commencement of this role
