Job Description About the Role:
Join WM New Zealand as a Weighbridge & Customer Assistant, where you'll dispatch jobs, balance driver workloads, and excel in customer service—answering inquiries and booking jobs across all services. Plus, oversee waste movement, ensuring meticulous recording and strict compliance with regulations.
What's Involved:
Manage job requests from logging to allocation on the appropriate route, ensuring customers are informed of service schedules.
Monitor route progress to ensure all jobs are completed on time and satisfactory.
Track and manage reallocated or rescheduled jobs due to driver actions.
Handle incidents, accidents, and driver absenteeism promptly and effectively.
Receipt incoming and outgoing vehicles and products, maintaining accurate records.
Direct traffic on site and oversee vehicle movements to ensure safety and efficiency.
Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with inquiries, ensuring compliance with documentation requirements, and maintaining high standards of professionalism.
Qualifications Skills and Requirements:
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interactions with drivers and customers.
Proficiency in MS Office
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to upholding safety and environmental standards.
Dangerous Goods certificate preferred but not essential -Familiarity with hazardous waste handling regulations is advantageous.
