We are seeking dedicated weekend support workers to provide essential support, companionship, and care in the Rotorua, Turangi and Taupo Region between the hours of 7am - 9pm, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Mo te tunga | About the Role: Our Support Workers are part of a dedicated and well-supported team, assisting our clients to live as independently as possible in their homes with a range of different tasks that include:
Personal Care: Assist with daily living activities, including meal planning and preparation according to the client's dietary requirements or request, bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while respecting the client's dignity and privacy.Home Management: Perform basic housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing, to maintain a safe and hygienic living environment.Medication Oversight: Monitoring, assisting, checking, observing or prompting the client when taking their medication.Manual Handling: Assist clients with walking and transferring, ensuring their safety and comfort.Experience: Previous Support Work experience is preferred but not required.
