For over 30 years, Visionwest Home Healthcare has been providing quality Home Healthcare and Individualised funding services for older adults and people living with disabilities with a team of over 1,300 support workers spread throughout the different regions.
Mo te tunga | About the Role: Our Support Workers are part of a dedicated and well-supported team, assisting our clients to live as independently as possible in their homes with a range of different tasks that include:
Personal Care: Assist with daily living activities, including meal planning and preparation according to the clients' dietary requirements or requests, bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while respecting the client's dignity and privacy.Home Management: Perform basic housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing, to maintain a safe and hygienic living environment.Medication Oversight: Monitoring, assisting, checking, observing, or prompting the client when taking their medication.Manual Handling: Assist clients with walking and transferring, ensuring their safety and comfort.Experience: Previous Support Work experience is preferred but not required.
