Job Description Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity We are looking for a Receptionist to join the team at our Carlaw Park Student Village, working weekends. You will provide general administrative and reception services for Accommodation, acting as a welcoming point of contact for visiting students, families, and key stakeholders.
You will be customer focused and have a high level of professionalism, directing and referring enquiries from staff, students and the public as appropriate.
This role includes general administrative support to residents including meeting couriers, upkeep and maintenance of photocopier and other related supplies, receiving and routing calls as appropriate, front desk support, reception support to events taking place in the faculties, liaising payment arrears and refunds with residents and doing bank reconciliations.
This is a part-time (15 hours per week), permanent opportunity.
The hours are Saturday and Sunday, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm.
Remuneration is $48,615 - $57,750, depending on skills and experience. For more detailed information, please refer to the Position Description.
He korero mou | About you Our ideal candidate will deliver a high standard of service, and will also provide reliable, efficient and accurate execution of the reception duties in an Accommodation workplace.
We are seeking motivated self-starters who can work autonomously with the following qualifications, skills, knowledge and experience: National Certificate of Educational Achievement Level 2 and/ or Vocational qualification in a related subject.
Administrative role experience is essential and preference will be given to those with an of the tertiary education sector.
Knowledge and a basic understanding of CRM and databases.
Excellent customer service with good public relations and communication skills.
