Job Description:
Steel Dynamics is looking for a confident and resilient Web Chat Associate to join our team in Nelson, NZ. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role and possess strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. As a Web Chat Associate, you will be responsible for providing online chat support to our customers and assisting them with any questions or issues they may have.
Responsibilities:- Engage with customers through web chat to provide support and assistance- Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and escalate complex problems as needed- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times- Use critical thinking skills to quickly assess situations and provide solutions- Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and enhance the customer experience- Keep detailed records of customer interactions and follow up as necessary- Stay informed about company products, services, and policies to effectively assist customers- Meet or exceed performance goals and quality standards set by the company
Requirements:- 3 years of experience in a web chat or customer service role- Confident and resilient personality traits- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Proficiency in typing and using web chat software- High school diploma or equivalent
