Waterproofing Roofer

Full time permanent job, Hous of work: at least 30 hours per week Number of vacancies: 2 Job Description Ability to read and interpret blueprints or construction plans and specifications. Knowledge of construction materials and techniques at work sites to determine materials required for the job. Set up safe access following Health and Safety rules, and able to ascend to significant height. Prepare surfaces to comply with manufacture requirement and apply appropriate primers to the treated surface. Apply waterproofing membrane sheets to roofing surfaces using appropriate techniques and tools, in accordance with project specifications. Install caulking, sealants, liquid coatings system to roofing or balcony and structural joints to prevent water from getting through.  Apply sheet tanking membrane or liquid coating system to create a waterproof barrier on roofing surfaces, ensuring thorough coverage and adherence to manufacturer guidelines to prevent water ingress.  Align materials along edges, securing with termination flashing, and overlapping layers to prevent water penetration.  Trim material to fit around potential entry points and sealing effectively.  Inspect and repair existing waterproofing systems as needed to maintain their effectiveness. Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as architects and contractors, to ensure seamless integration of waterproofing measures into overall building plans. Job pre-requisites: One year of  relevant work experience in construction industry is mandatory; Eyes for details and a hard-working attitude; Being physically fit; The successful candidate must pass police check.
