About the roleTo actively participate in the operation and routine maintenance of water treatment facilities to ensure they operate efficiently and with no loss of service to the community.
Ensure water schemes comply with resource consent conditions and drinking water quality assurance rules.
Ensure customer enquiries relating to water and water quality are dealt with quickly and in accordance with Council policy.
Who we are looking forIdeally, you will possess:
National Certificate in Water Treatment - Site Operator or equivalent.Knowledge of health and safety legislation and practices.Experience with telemetry and operating systems.Current NZ Driver's License.What we offerWe offer a flexible working environment, competitive remuneration, and varied learning and career progression opportunities across the wider Council group.
