This exciting position offers an opportunity for someone detail orientated to ensure the design and management of water treatment meets targets and requirements in a heavily compliant environment. The role of Water Treatment Lead is vital in supporting the Oceania Dairy business through ensuring legislative requirements are met for both design and operation for wastewater management. The Water Treatment Lead for Plant leads the comprehensive management of Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) Wastewater Treatment Plant, potable water treatment, demineralized water, bores, pivots, and chilled water systems. Ensuring compliance, optimizing processes, and maintaining high standards, the Water Treatment Lead plays a crucial role in achieving efficient and sustainable water treatment operations while promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will have a high level of computer literacy, strong problem-solving skills, and a curious mindset to put their best foot forward every day. An understanding of environmental regulations and permits for wastewater treatment, potable water treatment, and other water systems. Ability to develop and implement strategies to optimize the efficiency of wastewater treatment and water systems. Leadership and ability to manage a project. This is a hands-on role, so the ability to complete the practical task necessary is essential. What experience are we looking for? A wastewater or water treatment-based qualification along with a good understanding of relevant regulatory requirements.
