To be able to achieve this, we need to attract and retain the best and the brightest talent who share our values, and our commitment to New Zealand Farmers.We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Water Services Operator to contribute to the Lorneville Plant Team in Invercargill.Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of employees and other resources to ensure the success of the department, while ensuring a safe working environment is maintained and following the NZ Animal Welfare legislation and requirements.The duties of the role will include:Responsible for the day-to-day operation of a treatment plant.Liaise with plant production, maintenance, personnel, MPI, contractors and consultants.Accurate record keeping - collect, analyze, and interpret water samples, river, ponds, bores, irrigation.Operate the equipment, control the processes and monitor the treatment plant.Collect, analyze and interpret water/wastewater samples.Protect public health and the environment.Comply with the New Zealand Drinking Water Standards/ Resource Consents.Nga painga - what's in it for you?We are an employer that is committed to making a difference for families and communities and supporting people to build rewarding careers.
