Water Regulatory / Compliance Lead

Policy, Planning & Regulation (Government & Defence)We are partnering with this organisation to find an individual who can lead a team of specialists who provide technical advice to effectively support this organisation's regulatory role.The Operations Group that this role sits in has a purpose to use data and insight to deliver compliance monitoring and enforcement activities.Key skill-sets / attributes we are seeking include:Experience providing strategic technical advice in and around water quality and water strategyDemonstrated people leadership capabilityExperience in a regulatory environmentStrong understanding of the application of technical knowledge to support a regulatory functionExperience shaping and developing meaningful relationships with mana whenua, iwi Maori and Maori organisationsA sound understanding of regulatory and compliance functions from a Water perspective
