Seeking an experienced Waterblaster. 15757 Adv/Heights quals a prerequisite. Full H&S, height safety, product knowledge & other training provided by the company. Current NZ DL & the eligibility to work in NZ, a must. Work is at various sites around Auckland in a fulltime, permanent capacity. A guaranteed min of 40hrs pw Predominantly M to F with some early morning, evening & weekend work. Overtime is not part of the standard conditions but offered under particular circumstances eg working Sat & Sun in a pay week. You may be required to work short periods, up to 2 wks, outside Auckland at no cost to you. Rate of $32-35ph dependent on exp. Cellphone, uniform/PPE & upon completion of training, a company vehicle will be provided
JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Waterblasting Technician Reports To: Division Manager & Office Management Positions Reporting To: None Job Purpose: To provide high quality water blasting services to clients within specified time frames on all allocated jobs as advised by management, supervisors &/or other company delegates Key Responsibilities/General Cleaning Duties These can include any/all of the following:

Water blasting/chemical washing/cleaning of residential houses & commercial buildings & complexes or construction sites
Obtain & use knowledge of chemicals needed to clean different surfaces
Be able to work efficiently without supervision from Operations Manager
Ensure equipment/vehicles are properly maintained to achieve quality job
Meet specified deadlines for completion of assigned work Quality Control
Check quality of job meets the company standard prior to leaving the job
Report any customer complaints/issues/queries or on the job issues to the management so this can be managed
Ensure follow up on any quality non compliance issues to ensure issues are resolved
Accurately complete time sheets & job sheets
Ensure a high level of professionalism in the outputs by maintaining high personal standards & producing quality work in a timely & accurate way
Successful coordination of high quality, timely & cost effect services to meet stakeholder measures & outcomes Maintenance
Carry out routine maintenance on equipment & vehicles in accordance with company standards (daily/weekly/monthly)
Facilitate repairs/maintenance of equipment as necessary Housekeeping:
Carry out housekeeping of your department to required standard
Store & maintain all tools & equipment in a manner that preserves their quality, usefulness & life
Treat all client's premises with utmost respect Health & Safety:
Adherence to health & safety policy & procedures at all times
Carry out health & safety audits as stipulated
Use all PPE gear & equipment at all times for your own protection
Ensure the safety of all mechanical plant
Identification of hazards & taking appropriate action to eliminate, isolate or minimise the hazards
Communication with staff on maintenance issues & safety guidance
Promote safe work practices & ensure a safe working environment is maintained at all times in compliance with the Health & Safety Employment Act 1992 General:
Self development of skills & knowledge to attain high levels of expertise in varied fields
To adhere to all company policies & procedures at all times
To adhere to & promote the company values at all times
To work with other team members across the business to achieve consistent goals
