We currently have a vacancy for a Wastewater Treatment Operator based in Pauanui to carry out operational and routine maintenance tasks, and mechanical repairs within the Thames/Coromandel contract.

Nationally recognised Trade Qualifications, after qualifying period
What you'll be responsible for Maintenance and repair of pipes, pumps, leaks, machines, blockages, and pump stations
Preventative maintenance including refits and rebuilding of assets
Laboratory testing and data entry
Performance monitoring and improvements of treatment process
Monitoring, recording, and altering Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system
Act as a point of contact for customer requests for service. Appropriately respond to these in a timely manner, assessing and coordinating remedial action if required
Coordinate and provide contractual reporting to the Client
Accurately log all reports and jobs, completing the necessary paperwork and filing where required
What you'll need to be successful Class 1 Driver Licence essential although Class 2 Licence will be an advantage
Tertiary education in Science; Engineering (Mechanical) or computing an advantage
A strong process or mechanical background
A can-do attitude
Ability to work under pressure
Good attention to detail
Ability to participate in an on-call roster
Great communication and organisational skills
Intermediate computer skills
