Wastewater Treatment Operator

Tradestaff is on the lookout for a dedicated and driven Wastewater Operator to join our trusted client in the heart of Hawkes Bay!

This is a permanent, full time opportunity working 42.5 hours a week.
You will be responsible for ensuring operations and maintenance of 50 wastewater and 8 stormwater pump stations on a wastewater treatment plant.

Responsibilities: Checking, maintaining, and collecting data of 50 wastewater, 8 stormwater pump stationsChecking, maintaining, operating and data collection of equipment to treat and process wastewaterIdentify and report faults, incidents and near misses to contribute to health and safety and continuous improvement initiativesEnsure plant vehicles and tools are left in a clean and tidy state at the end of each day Requirements: NZQA in Wastewater Treatment (level 4) or a minimum of 3 years operation experience with process plants or water industryFull Class 1 driver's licenseExcellent problem solving and record keeping skillsMechanically minded & analytical skills Benefits: Full time opportunityAll PPE ProvidedCompetitive weekly pay
